About the event
Set shortly after the closing pages of Shelley's novel, Frankenstein: Afterglow imagines a world where both Doctor Frankenstein and his monster have survived. Back in Geneva, they are locked in a fierce battle: Frankenstein seeks to end his life and escape the shame of his creation, while the monster forces him to live, confronting him with the consequences of his misguided experiment. This thought-provoking piece explores themes of identity, mortality, and self-will, and is infused with wit, dramatic flair, neon lighting, and puppetry.
