Heidi Browne

Growing up in Shropshire in a house full of instruments, songwriting and performing was something that came naturally and listening to old records from an early age, Heidi’s sound is an evocative mix of jazz, blues, soul and folk appealing to listening ears of all ages.  Heidi Browne learnt violin and flute in school, and loved writing and illustrating stories.  It wasn’t long before she took to guitar and piano to put her lyrics to music and the full creative scope of making an album including the artwork and video brought all her passions together.  A true independent artist with a hereditary aversion to commercialism, Heidi has self-released five studio albums which have radio had play on BBC and internationally and taken her on her travels across Europe and beyond.  Her catchy hook lines have seen her commissioned to compose and write for adverts, most recently a famous crisp brand. At Hermon Arts she is joined by her father, ex Kate Bush band, Colin Browne on keyboard and guitar and she looks forward to performing and intimate and magical show comprising her well known songs as well as some yet-to-be released numbers.
